When analyzing bills, we may send non-identifiable information (such as billing codes and charge amounts, without your name or other personal details) to AI tools to help us identify potential errors.

We do not sell your information.

We share your information only when necessary to resolve your case:

  • With healthcare providers or insurance companies, only after you sign an authorization form permitting us to do so

  • With service providers who help us operate (such as our website host and email provider), who are contractually required to protect your information

Your uploaded documents are stored securely with password protection. Only authorized Medvo team members can access your information.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain your information indefinitely to provide ongoing service and allow you to access your case history. You may request deletion of your information at any time by emailing data-privacy@medvohealth.com.

Important Note About HIPAA

Medvo is not a "covered entity" under HIPAA (the federal health privacy law that applies to healthcare providers and insurance companies). However, we are committed to protecting your privacy and treating your health information with care.

  • Request deletion of your information
